My Story

Her Village and Little Village Socials were created from a very real place. When I couldn’t find the sense of community I needed as a stay-at-home mom of two, I decided to build one—so other women and moms wouldn’t have to feel as alone as I did. Getting out of the house felt hard, meeting new moms took courage, and finding a “village” didn’t feel built in. I often felt isolated, but by creating events and socials, I gave myself—and other women—a reason to show up, connect, and belong. Alongside this work, I hold a diploma in Mental Health and Wellness from SIIT and have training in holistic health, self-care, natural healing, and Reiki. I was working toward a degree in social work when I had to pause my education due to Bell’s palsy during my first pregnancy. After the hardest season of my life—the loss of my mother, my biggest supporter and best friend—I made the decision to continue forward with purpose. In 2026, I am returning to complete my degree so I can better support grieving women, new moms, and those navigating life’s transitions. My goal is to continue growing this community into something even deeper: a space for connection, healing, fun, and belonging, with future plans to offer support groups, counseling, workshops, and eventually open a center where women feel truly seen and supported.

About Us

Her Village was originally created with moms in mind. As it grew, so did the understanding that all women deserve a space where they feel seen, supported, and connected. Women with children, without children, working full-time or part-time, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and those simply navigating life in their own way all belong here.

Her Village is a community centered on connection, self-care, and ease. I create fun, calming, sometimes holistic and themed events with a soft, pink and girly accent that reflects warmth and comfort. These gatherings are meant to feel stress-free and welcoming, offering women a chance to pause, connect, and simply be.

Little Village was created to connect moms and their littles through daytime and occasional weekend activities. Events are held weekly and often feature different community experiences. Some are planned and hosted by me, while others are collaborative events with local businesses who open their spaces or co-host alongside us.

Affordability and accessibility are important to me. I do my best to keep events as affordable as possible, though some costs such as space rentals, supplies, and host expertise are sometimes required. Payment plans are always available, and I am happy to discuss options so everyone who wants to participate can feel welcome.

This community is built on both education and lived experience. I hold a diploma in Mental Health and Wellness, and I am continuing my studies toward my Bachelor of Social Work. I am also Reiki certified. My passion for this work comes from personal experience with grief, burnout, lack of self-care, and the realities of being a busy mom of two.

Her Village is a space created with intention, compassion, and heart. If you are looking for connection, softness, and community, you are welcome here. Join us.
